Ethical Policy
To ensure that everyone involved in our supply chain benefits from trading with us
We are committed to doing business in a way which ensures that everyone in our supply chain benefits from trading with us. We believe that high workplace standards, good health and safety, and fair pay and employment conditions are all elements of a successful, professionally run business and contribute to its efficiency and productivity. Our approach is one of engagement with suppliers and workers and recognises and respects the cultural diversity within our supply chains.
It is our policy to:
- only work with suppliers who share our aims and values.
- establish clear visibility through our supply chain, so we know where all our products are made.
- define workplace standards for our suppliers’ factories, including minimum standards which must be met as a condition of supply and higher standards which suppliers are required to meet within agreed timescales.
- assess each supplier’s performance against our workplace standards.
- provide training for our team, suppliers and other relevant people on the environmental and social issues affecting our supply chain.
ensure that suppliers and contractors when employed in developing, refurbishing and maintaining sites uphold the workplace standards on product procurement and behaviour consistent with our requirements
